catalina haben ihren Anfang im Sommer 2020 in der Region Basel genommen. 
Marcus Wyss (voc/git), Marco Gyger (git/voc), Emanuel Schad (bass/voc), Philipp Schiess (drums) haben zuvor in verschiedenen Formationen ihre Erfahrungen gesammelt. Zusammen entsteht etwas neues mit der Vermutung, das 1+1+1+1 mehr als 4 gibt. Mit eigenen Songs und Geschichten wird das Gelände zwischen Rock, Alternative, Indie und Pop erkundet.
